Inspired by my love for crafting

Hi! My name is Ally, I am the creator/owner of Thimble & Charm. I’m an Oregon girly, born and raised. I love crafting, reading, video games, and even tabletop roleplaying games like dungeons and dragons. When I craft I always gravitate towards nerdy or fantasy fabrics, which I feel gives each item its own whimsical charm. My love of all things fantasy is partly what inspired the name for my business. I wanted a name that would encompass both my love for charm and whimsy, but would also describe my products. I think Thimble & Charm suits that style very well!

Outside of Thimble & Charm, I work as a full-time registered nurse. That means for three days out of my week I cannot think of, or do, anything outside of work, eat, and sleep. But don’t worry, this doesn’t stop me from crafting. Thankfully I am blessed with more days off than most and this is what allows me to craft so much! I am also married to my wonderfully supportive husband, Matthew. I would not have made it this far in life without him by my side.

Most of you reading this probably prefer to shop online, but when I have weekends off I am going to start trying to attend craft fairs/bazaars in my local area. Keep an eye out for me, and you might even see Matthew too!
